To provide scholarships to high-achieving young women of color, supporting and encouraging them to realize their academic and leadership potential while living in Darien and attending Darien High School.
In operation since 1981, ABC in Darien Scholars have been Presidents of the DHS student body, National Honor Society members and Captains of several athletic teams. 100% of graduates have gone on to four-year colleges. Many have continued on to graduate schools and careers in law, teaching and architecture.
